A not-too-spicy approach to plumping the lips. With a minty feel and clear glossy finish, I love to use this alone at night or on top of a lip color during the day. $29.50 and one swoop over each lip-viola, not a bad investment.
I put it on top of my upper lip line to prevent any of those annoying vertical lines from appearing. It feels like it's doing something, maybe it's the collagen trickery. Either way, I'm a sucker for this one.

Ardell Individual Short Black False Eyelashes
These 100% human sterilized lashes are so easy to apply and make such a difference in dramatizing the eyes. They are waterproof and curled slightly at the tips, helping to blend in with natural lashes. The clear Ardell glue works great and can last up to a week of wear. Available at drugstores and Sally Beauty.
I first curl my own lashes and then apply a first coat of mascara. I apply starting from the outer corners and space them about 2-3 mm apart. I only apply about 5 per eye, stopping near the center of each eye. In my opinion it helps give the lashes more of a natural looking length w/out having to apply the lashes all the way across the eyes. It would look like there's too much lash going on, you dig? Feathering off the ends looks most feminine and sexy without looking fake.
I fold a piece of aluminum foil into a small square and pour about a pea-size of glue on it. (The glue can't absorb into foil.) With tweezers I pull from the base of the false lash (in the box) and then put the lash on the back of my hand. I then gently grab the flare portion of the lash and dab the root into the glue. You don't want too much glue, just about a speck of sand size then apply the lash at the upper base of my natural eye line. The false lash should be resting gently on the natural lash but the base should be touching the natural eye line. Hope this doesn't get confusing. If so, You Tube has great demos for you to see! After false lashes are applied I apply a second coat of mascara and off I go! The bonus is for a only around $5.00, you get 56 individuals so you can afford to practice over and over. Take your time and have fun! ** I'm currently starting to use the prescription lash darkening/lengthening treatment, Latisse. Glo Brightener highlight concealer
This soft tipped velvet finish concealer is best used around the eye area. It's a concealer without the cakiness.
I love using this after the glo eye revitalize that I've blogged about previously.
It's around $20.00 and it "clicks" to get product up to the tip. One click is plenty for both eyes-take it easy. The more concealer you use the more "wrinkled" you can use. Tip: If you feel like you've used to much just wet a q-tip and pat the area to gently remove. Air dry and blend the rest in.
You can use the actual tip of the concealer stick to pat or dot it then use your ringer fingers to blend inward and upward around the under eye area and the inner corner of the eye. This really helps to lighten the areas and wake up the face.
I use it primarily around the eyes but occasionally use it to even out the skin on/around a blemish. Keep in mind that this is full of vitamins, green tea and also an spf!!! Bonus!
This comes in 2 shades light and medium. Here comes summer!!!!!!!!

Revercel Vitamin C Infusion
This is a waterless, topical vitamin C product. I use it under my daytime moisturizer. The texture is more of a soft, lightweight cream but absorbs quickly leaving a nice base to then apply my moisturizer/spf. It tingles on contact which is normal because it's active. It feels great as it's absorbing into my skin. I find it really works well to brighten the sun spots and firm my skin-a major collagen stimulator! I use it all over my face, neck and feather down to the top of my chest. I use about a half-dime size for applying on these areas. Don't use on acute acne or any open skin. Better used on mature, combination and dry skin.
I really enjoy the unique texture of this product. Usually you'll find vit c in a serum so this is a great alternative if you're looking.........

Botox Cosmetic
This is the injectable Botox that is used to tighten the frown lines, vertical brow lines and crows feet. It is also still used to treat migraine headaches. There are other areas that Botox is used but none of which I've had first hand experience with.
The average cost ranges between $200.00 and $500.00 +/-
It takes about a full week to see the complete results of treatment. It lasts between 3-5 months. What got my interest sparked were all of my guests who volunteered they'd received it but I honestly couldn't tell that it had been done. Yes, this is a great thing because you may still have a natural expression line here and there but you don't want to look frozen!!! I thought about getting it done for preventative reasons. Yes, I've earned every one of my lines which I love, but this, in my opinion is a beautiful and safe enhancement that does just that, enhance. Less is more and I'm not regular with my treatments. Even with my professional discount the cost is high for my budget. I get treatments about every 8 to 10 months, sometimes even longer in between. I've had 4 treatments so far only on my forehead area. I'm not a needle loving person and I tell you what, the needle is sooooo fine that I can barely feel it going in to my skin. I have never used a pre-treatment of lidocaine or anything else. I don't think it's necessary for me. I just apply a little cool washcloth over the areas treated afterward for 2 minutes and I'm out the door. I've yet to have any bruising or headaches after or during injections. I can't stress enough the importance of conservative amounts. It obviously varies from person to person so just let the dermatologist, nurse or plastic surgeon know what it is you are wanting. It's not a waste of money, it's a safer approach, especially if you're a first timer. If you're not, don't get too crazy and addicted because you'll look frozen and what's up with that??? For me, I go to a nurse practitioner who I trust and who is a good listener. The more bang for your buck theory doesn't apply to this. :)

Clarisonic Brush
For a cool $150.00 to $250.00 you can grab the popular Clarisonic brush of your choice. The same manufacturer that invented the Sonicare toothbrush has had these facial brushes out for a few years now but they are still such a popular item for the home care routine.
I've been using the facial brush on my guests' skin and thanks to my mother-in-law, I get to use one on myself at home now!
The brushes are soft and gently spin back and forth to help clean, firm and rejuvenate the skin. There are different textures of brush heads depending on your skins needs. There's also a body brush that's a little more stiff for the drier areas of the body. You can put your cleanser on then hold the Clarisonic to the skin and just gently move the brush to all the areas of the face, neck and chest. The "beeps" help to guide you to different areas of the skin at one time but you can re-start just by pushing the button. Easy.
It's not imperative to use this every day but if you're exceptionally oily and have really thick, non-sensitive skin, go for it. You could even use it for both your a.m and p.m cleansing. For more sensitive skins try using it at night or every other night. Don't forget that you can use it more frequently on the neck, chest, back of the arms and even back of the hands!!! Great for men too! It's waterproof so you could leave it in the shower in between uses. I'm actually loving the way it feels on my skin and we all need a little exercise on our skin to keep it from falling down too fast! I love that too. I use it about 3 times a week in the shower.
