June Jacobs Mandarin Moisture Mask

I love this product so much I'm doing a second blog on it-oopsy daisy!!!
This mask is luscious on the skin!
At around $55.00 on line or at resort spas, this is a special treat.
Loaded with chamomile, aloe, orange extract and gingko.
Extremely soothing and quick-absorbing on any skin, especially post peels, sun burned or severely dehydrated due to high altitudes.
I use this once in a while for all of the above reasons.  The texture is like a light jelly on the skin.  Because of this texture it absorbs right in to the skin and really replenishes.
I'll put in on my cleansed skin and sleep with it on overnight.  It's clear and does not leave any residue on the pillow case.  As always use on face, neck and chest.
A real delight with maximum results.

MAC Pro Longwear Lustre Lip Colour in Jazz-Y-Razz

This is a duo with a pretty, soft pink stain and a shimmery gloss to apply on top.
For about $20.00 you can apply once and leave it on all day and night.  It really has staying power without cracking and over drying.  The gloss attached is called Mirror and I tend to re-apply that if I need to but the color stays true!  Lots of beautiful colors to chose from and easy to apply.

Pure Skin Care Black Rice Cream Cleanser

This 8.4 oz product can be found at CVS Pharmacy for around $8.00 and it's made in Italy-fantastico!
A lighter, creamy consistency makes it last longer.  I only use about a half-dime size for face, neck and chest and moisturize it in to my skin using small, circular strokes.  I don't add any water before or during.  After about 2 minutes, rinse with tepid water.  Depending on how much makeup I have on, I'll cleanse again.
So black rice has "anthyocyanins" in them which are plant-based pigments that are high in anti-oxidants.  There's also bran oils along with allantoin(anti-inflammatory) in this cleanser.  There's not much of a scent in this product which makes it feel pure.
There are more products in this line and I'm intrigued to say the least.
This would be great on all skins because it's very mild.

shu uemura eyelash curler

Yes, this tool has been on the must-have list for at least a decade but there's a reason folks-it rocks!
With a silicon, soft pad and easy gripping any one can curl their lashes with ease and no pain.
I've been doing this procedure for so long I don't even need to use a mirror-whoa, yes what a talent!HA!
Truthfully, it really does work well by curling the top lashes up and open for easier and more even mascara application.
At around $20.00 at Sephora it's just been retrofitted.  I need to get the newest version myself.  It does come with an extra silicon pad to be changed every 3-6 months.  I can't remember when I changed it last-scary.  Also, the curler itself should be replaced about every 6 months to a year.  I think it's been more like 2 or 3 years for me-still going strong but a little rusty.
The pad really does get gross, black and tar-like if you don't use on cleansed lashes.  Don't run the risk of yanking out lashes that have sticky mascara on them-ouch. That's the important part about using any eyelash curler-only use it on clean lashes!  Just barely push thumb and pointer finger together for optimal curl.  If you push together too hard, you'll get a defined crease in the lash and it will not look natural.  You can use the same hand for both eyes unless you're ambidextrous.
For those who don't wear mascara, you can still benefit by curling your lashes!
A staple for your makeup bag and a bargain too.

Desert Essence Jojoba Oil

This 4 oz bottle of goodness is around $7.00 at Trader Joe's and works beautifully even for the most sensitive of skins.  It can be used on the skin(yes, your face!), scalp and the hair.  It's a perfect shave medium and/or after shave for men-seriously!!!  It gives the skin a more youthful appearance.
So those of you reading and cringing at the word"oil"-don't.
Jojoba oil has been around for centuries and comes from a seed.  It's hypoallergenic, odorless and will not clog pores.  One of it's jobs is to regulate the moisture level in the skin and it does not leave a "greasy" film.  For all you skeptics, the only way you'll believe me is if you really try it.  Unlike mineral oil (baby oil) this jojoba is from a natural source and it's molecular weight is much smaller meaning quicker absorption into the pores.  Jojoba mimics the sebum(oil) in human skin so our skin drinks it up.
I use it at night if I've had a deep peel and just need some TLC.  I'll use it on my rough elbows and knees.  I've used it as a deep scalp conditioner in the winter.  Great for warding off dandruff.  I see a difference in my male clients skin after using this to shave.  We all need moisture and the more moisturized, the younger looking the skin.  Period.

Nivea Sun-Kissed Beautiful Legs/Fair to Medium Skin

A great pick-me-up for the legs and body for that matter.  I like to use this during the crummy, rainy time of year for a more youthful, less ghostly appearance.  The natural, bronzy glow makes me feel better about the extra cellulite I put on while hibernating.  :)
I also use it on my arms and body and it works the same.
It smells like a self tanner but not too powerful.  There's a little citrus in it that helps to cut the scent.  The greatest thing about this is that it really works fast.  I use it for 3 days and by the 4th day it looks about 2 shades darker but not orangey.  And as long as I don't exfoliate, it'll last about a week to 10 days.
The cost is low too.  Around $7.00 at Wal-Mart for a 6.7 oz bottle.  I don't saturate my skin with it either, just a light application is all that's needed to work.
Before I have a fashion show and/or outdoor photo shoot, this really brings out the color without looking fake baked.
Overall, a very satisfying product with no fuss.  Other shades available.

CVS Alcohol-Free Toner

This 8.5 oz bottle of gentleness is a must for all and around $6.00!(use the in-store coupon center)
I pour this into a small travel atomizer sprayer and spritz after cleansing, after makeup and throughout the day.  It goes right into the skin and hydrates anytime you use it.  I used to LOVE spritzing on airplanes before all the new regulations because of the re-circulated, dry air- yuck for the skin.
This is especially great for acneic skin.  No one needs a stinging, alcohol based toner to get the skin clean. This works great and will not confuse the sebaceous glands.  Use a cotton pad if you think that wiping the skin makes it feel cleaner but really it does not.  Instead reach for a salicylic cleanser, then tone with this little jewel of a product.  Then an oil-free moisturizer w/ spf. (There's a little acne routine for ya.)
I use this after cleansing to balance the pH, also to help carry the serums and or moisturizers into the skin.  I also spritz after applying make-up to help dewify my skin instead of it looking matte and sometimes older.  Great for after a workout by spritzing right on top of the face.  Very refreshing and many reasons to use it.  Everyone needs to get on this toner train!!!
