After all of the press this little .5 oz jar has been getting, I had to try it.
This is a face primer that is mostly made up of dimethicone, a silicone ingredient that smoothes the surface of the skin. It doesn't really soak in to the skin but rather acts a barrier/base for minimizing the appearance of fine lines. It creates an even and smooth surface to apply a foundation on. I find that I don't need as much make-up coverage in general when using this primer first, simply because there's less to hide after using this first.
I use it in the morning under my liquid moisturizer with tint. I apply it around the eye area and the marionette lines or "parenthesis" ( ) or nasolabial folds around my mouth. It does not get clumpy when I apply my liquid tint moisturizer and really gives my skin a smooth, more youthful appearance.
I apply about a half pea size for around my crows area of the eyes, then a half pea size for the marionettes.
I usually spot treat with this product but you could spread a thin layer all over the face and neck, especially for pictures.
This product is non-comedogenic (won't clog pores) and fragrance free.
My only complaint is that it doesn't come in bigger jar!
At around $12, it's a must have for any make up kit.
PS, this primer is colorless as are most.

The Body Shop Vitamin C Energizing Face Spritz
A handy 3.3 oz spritz bottle to carry with you on the go.
Smells like lime, aloe and mandarin and feels refreshing on the face.
I use this for setting my makeup. It looks less matte and more natural and refreshed.
The dewier the better ya'll!
Also, a wonderful alternative to washing the face after a workout. Over cleansing strips the natural lipids and can dehydrate the skin. Keep the bottle about an arm's length away from your face and give yourself a couple of pumps. It air dries within seconds.
I also use a spritz after cleansing to help my serum and moisturizers get in to the skin quicker.
Great for after a long airplane flight or in high altitudes.
I use more spritz toners than any other product because it's an easy quick fix and wakes the skin up.
Always make sure there's no alcohol in the ingredients. The days of stinging toners are long gone. :)

Maybelline Dream Mousse Blush in Rose Petal
A quick and easy way to sweep on your blush and go!
It really is a "mousse-like" texture and applies easy with fingertips. Fragrance free.
Around $5 bucks for a .20 oz jar. You really don't need much. (about a half of a pea size for both cheekies)
I apply my moisturizer then dab with my middle and ring fingers into the apples of my cheeks and along my zygomatic(cheek) bone, finishing at my temples.
I really like the subtle sparkle in the blush. It gives a more youthful look, who doesn't love that, huh?
You could re-apply over makeup if you're going out and want more color for evening. Dust a little translucent or mineral powder to finish the application and you're ready.
I never really liked the cream blush thing until I found this one. It's almost like a cream-to-powder and blends well into the skin without clumping.
Have fun with it.

The Body Shop Sweet Lemon Lip Butter
A little pot of loveliness for those dry, cracked, sun-chaffed kissers!
A shea butter base makes it soak into the lips quickly and with lots of moisture left over for soft, yummy pout-able levres.
There is not a sun protection in this so I use it at night. I keep it next to my bed and layer it on including outside of the lip line. No vertical lines allowed! The lemon seed oil helps with firming.
Comes in lots of fruity choices and about $4. per pot. (.3 oz.)
It's colorless so anyone can use it.
Go grab one or three and keep them all over the house for super quenched soft lips.

ETERNITY summer by Calvin Klein
This gorgeous 3.4 oz spray perfume is light, sexy, beachy with hints of citrus, passion fruit and musk.
My sweet man gave this to me this summer and I love how subtle and fresh it is.
I spray just once down the back of the neck and it's just enough to give a hint of it's flavors.
It's great day and night and for the date night on the beach.
I also spritz before yoga class to help create that beach vision.
Reality is I work my buns off and this doesn't make me smell like I do! haha
A fun and new refreshing smell my husband and I truly enjoy. Now get down on it. :)

The Body Shop Body & Leg Shine (Light/Medium)
The latest in self-bronzing all at your finger tips. And mess free! You don't have to get your hands in the product. EASY!!!
The packaging mimics a stick of deodorant and glides on leaving the skin glowing and even!
I use it when I'm going to be exposing my legs and don't want to look as white as a cotton ball.
I glide it over all of the exposed areas and off I go. It washes off and doesn't get darker the longer you use it. It doesn't absorb into the skin the way the lotions do.
The reason I love it is that it's a quick fix when you don't have the time to plan ahead for self-tanning lotions. Works well for evening out the strap marks from bathing suit lines.
Great for brides too!
Around $18.00 for just under 2 oz of stick. Comes in 2 shades.
I have not used it my face but I don't see why I couldn't for a little glow.
A fabulous, mess free bronzer that's so easy to apply!!!

Latisse by Allergan
This prescription eyelash darkening and lengthening product works great!
After 2 months of using nightly, my lashes feel and look longer, darker and even curlier at the ends.
I'll use the treatment for 1 more month, then every 3rd month for maintenance. That's what my dermatologist and clients recommend.
I use my Latisse at night after removing my contacts and washing my face and eye makeup with an oil-free remover. I highly recommend using a really thin eyeliner brush( buy new) to apply the Latisse to the base of the upper lashes. It uses less product and it gets a clean, gentle distribution of product without scratching or getting too much on the lash line. Try MAC brush #210.
There's a little hole at the top of the Latisse bottle and that's where I dip the brush into then finely line the upper lash line with product. I can feel the wetness of the product so I know I got it on the entire length of the line. I don't apply the product on the lower lash (not recommended) but it does fall onto the lower lash line if you apply right before bed and eyes are closed. I have actually noticed my lower lashes getting slightly longer as well.
After applying the product, I clean the brush with tepid water and my face cleanser of choice and let air dry on a clean towel.
I began to notice the results in about 3 weeks after I started using the product.
About a dozen clients have highly recommended using this Latisse on the eyebrows too. If you have hypotrichosis (hair loss) in the brow line, by all means give it a shot. Apply the same way just make sure you run the length of the entire brow line.
I've yet to try it on my brows simply because I've got wooly brows but it has made a difference for those who rave about it.
So for a month supply (3ml) this itsy bitsy prescription will cost you from about $90.-$125.
The secret is to buy the thin eyeliner brush and you'll get 3 months (+/-) out of 2 bottles. That's a savings of a month supply!!!
By the way, I've had NO side effects what so ever but I did stop using for 1 week while I was in the humidity and heat on the east coast in July.
Please refer to Latisse.com for more details. Good Luck!!
